BlueSense™ Process Water Sanitation
BlueSense™ engineered dedicated solutions for animal drinking water and especially the poultry industry. Our technology is based on patented solutions, producing disinfecting agents by converting chloride ions naturally present in the water into powerful disinfectants, either hypochlorous acid or chlorine dioxide.
Improperly treated water in the agroindustry leads to many issues for farmers such as animal illness and increased mortality, frequent cleaning operations (i.e.: stables, networks...) and potential animal quarantine. It can also lead to less water intake by the animals, increased antibiotics consumption and a lower food conversion ratio.
The impact can be huge, with a rise in costs incurred, increased water consumption for the exploitation and significant loss of yield.

BlueSense™ main advantages:
- Our systems are NSF 61 certified for drinking water treatment (Oxiblu)
- Quick installation – easy retrofitting
- Chlorine residual production to treat the entire network including against biofilm
- (Increased security & clean in place time and cost savings)
- Low maintenance
- No chemicals – automatic system (avoids special equipment and training)
- No specific skill required
- Low expenditures
- Less antibiotics (better hygiene, reduces diarrhea, ...)
- Less loss, healthier animals > higher weight of meat per head
- Existing references (poultry and milking cows)
Operating Scheme:
- Low voltage applied between specially coated electrodes.
- Salt (chlorides) naturally present in the water is turned into an oxidizing & desinfecting agent either HOCl (hypochlorous acid) or ClO2 (Chlorine Dioxide).
- Water is then disinfected.
- Residual additionnal free chlorine is generated to:
- Protect the distribution network (pipes and tank) against micro-organism growth
- Limits the biofilm development
- No loss in Chlorine strength
